The Majadahonda Hotel has replaced the chiller with a heat pump. A grant is awarded, under Order 1605/2022, of October 4, from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Sports, approving the regulatory framework and call for proposals for funding for energy efficiency and circular economy projects in tourist accommodation establishments in the Community of Madrid, funded by the "Next Generation" Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (financed by the European Union), component C14.I4, for an amount of €64,466.21.

The investment project falls under typology of action 2 and is based on improving energy efficiency and renewable energies in the heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and hot water facilities of the Majadahonda Hotel building.

With this investment, a 24% reduction in the total electricity consumption of our Hotel has been estimated.

At the Majadahonda Hotel, as part of our Sustainability Program, we have installed 84 solar panels of 540 watts each, with a total installed capacity of 45.36 kW.
